Minor A in Sudden Death Finish with Mount Anville

A gruelling Leinster League Minor A final saw Mount Anville snatch a goal with seconds to go before the final whistle to equalise 2-2, sending the match into extra time.  Two well-matched teams battled for another 30 minutes.  With no change, the outcome would be decided by penalty strokes.  Level after the first five strokes per team, the penalties went to sudden death, and our heartbroken team and supporters could only watch as Mount Anville emerged the victors.
We are very proud of our Minor A team, who have had a fantastic season and show great promise for the coming years.  Well done to you all.  Read more for other Hockey News...........
