On Wednesday 20 October, we had great success with the 1st Year Funday. The 6th Years did a tremendous job of organising the games, scores and teams – even some of the teachers got involved! The theme for this year was The World Cup. There were twenty-eight teams all named after countries from around the world such as Serbia, Argentina and Spain. One girl from each 1st Year class was on a team, along with two or three 6th Years.
The 13 games included 'musical chairs' and 'limbo'. Teams got 3 points for a win, 2 points for a draw and 1 point for a loss. We all had great fun and made a lot of new friends throughout the day. The 6th Years brought the magic and it is a day we'll never forget.
