We discussed a topic for Healthwise Week and decided to combine Mental Health Week with it.  The week chosen will be 7^th - 11^th March 2011.  We wrote up a rota for the “Walk to School” initiative.

We went through the suggestions that we received in the suggestion box. Three main issues came up:

• The water fountains in the school and Sports hall.
• The 5^th Year Locker room locked during class time with lights left on.
• 2^nd Year request for a ‘Social’.

We discussed all of these issues at our last meeting.  The fountains were tested by the council and feedback will be posted on the board soon.  We spoke about the sports hall bathrooms and noted the rundown conditions such as ventilation, cleanliness and paint.  The issue of school shoes was brought up and we discussed possible alternatives to the current system. We also looked at how a crest would look on the school uniform jumper.
