A Senior Hockey Squad of 18 students travelled to Holland on the 24^th August – 27^th August.
The team attended the European Championships in Amstelveen and had the opportunity to see the best countries in both Men and Women compete at the top level. 

The girls also played two matches against Dutch opposition winning one (4-0) and narrowly losing the other (2-1).  A 3 hour guided cycling trip around Amsterdam’s historical sites helped improve the fitness level of the students.  Representatives from both the Irish and Dutch Hockey Unions commented on the wonderful spirit and manners of the girls.  They were a credit to their school and a pleasure to travel with.
