Following on from last week's visit by two of the Presidential candidates, Loreto Foxrock held its very own mock election on Tuesday, 25th of October. All TY, 5th and 6th Years were eligible to vote and did so in large numbers. The first round saw a high first preference vote for Sean Gallagher but after all votes were distributed, it was Michael D Higgins who was elected. It seems the students at Loreto Foxrock had their finger on the Irish political pulse!
