Congratulations to the Senior Debaters on their win at the Wesley Mace Shield Competition on Saturday, April 2^nd.  Two teams represented the school  - Anne-Marie O’Sullivan and Sarah Fenn, together with Caoimhe Stafford and Ludivine Rebet.

The latter team saw off top competition to win the Shield.  A particular congratulations to Caoimhe, in this her last competition representing Loreto College Foxrock.  Over the two days, she impressed the judges and was named as Best Speaker in the competition.  We are delighted for this team which has come so close in several major competitions in the last couple of months.  We will be sorry to lose Caoimhe to the debating halls of universities next year, but we wish her every success in the future.
