School Re-opening 2012-2013

School will re-open after the summer break on Monday 27th August 2012.  The calendar containing details of the new year's arrangements will be posted out to families during the summer and will be published here on the website as soon as it is finalised. 
   

Hurray for the Green Flag!

Hurray for the Green Flag!
2012 has been a very successful year for the Green School Committee.  We are delighted to announce that Loreto College Foxrock has received its second green flag from An Taisce – this time for energy awareness.  The whole committee has been working tirelessly since September for our new flag by raising awareness in the school about energy conservation; running an energy-themed week; and keeping up the work on our last flag - for recycling.

Transition Year Presentation Night

All Transition Year students and their parents are invited to visit the school for the 'End of Year night' on Thursday 17th May.  Students will be displaying their 4th Year work and have been busy putting up displays in the school hall.  All are welcome to attend. 
   

Confucius Institute & Loreto Foxrock

Loreto College Foxrock was delighted to welcome visitors from the UCD Confucius Institute to the school today.  We hope to build up very strong connections with The High School affiliated with Beijing Normal University

The Great Debate - 3rd May 2012

The second annual Great Debate between Loreto College Foxrock and CBC Monkstown will take place on Thursday, 3rd May. As well as teams from Loreto and CBC, St Joseph's Cluny will also be participating. The motion is "That this house believes that Facebook does more good than harm". The guest chairperson on the night is the leader of the Green Party, Mr Eamon Ryan. The debate begins at 7.45pm in CBC Monkstown.
