The largest recreation area in the school, the lunchroom is a busy and informal place in which students can relax and enjoy their breaks from class.

Microwave ovens and a dishwasher have been provided the Parent/ School Association.  Students can make hot drinks and heat food at lunchtime.  The vending machine, selling a variety of healthy snacks and drinks, is very popular amongst the girls.   Students can listen to music on their own music system which, along with the framed student art-work and large mural on the walls, makes it a student centred leisure area.

The school lunchroom is also used for a variety of activities.  It acts as a venue for visiting speakers; the Christmas Fair; numerous cake sales, coffee mornings, French & Spanish breakfast parties; backstage area for performances in the hall; preparation area for large events, and a general work area for large groups.
