On Monday 8 November, twelve students from 4^th & 5^th Year were lucky enough to attend a Public Speaking and Debating workshop in Trinity College.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable, well organised day.  As we arrived we were separated into different rooms depending on levels - beginners in one room and advanced and experienced in another.  From there we learned some known and some new skills for both public speaking and debating.  The organisers were very helpful, teaching us so many new things and being generally friendly and fun.  The day consisted of mock debates, games, speeches and bonding activities and lasted from 12pm through to 4.30pm.  Overall it was very beneficial and we all learned many new skills and enhanced our ability to speak in public and debate. Lunch was provided and we made many new friends making the experience worthwhile and fun!
