Junior Debating has been going very well for our girls, with the team winning out in the final group debate against Bray just before Christmas.  They have now won their group and progress to the semi-final stages.  Well done girls - we're proud of you.

Eabhan Rowe and Sarah Fenn progressed from the first round debate in the UCD Junior Schools Debates, proposing the motion: "That this House would ban alcoholic sponsorship of sporting events', putting them through to the quarter-finals with the challenging motion: 'That this House would occupy Haiti'. 

Susan McGing and Shauna Fenton took part in the Plate competition of the UCD debates and Susan was successful and progressed to the semi-finals.
