Welcome to the Loreto College Foxrock website. Our school is a private catholic secondary school for girls. We have a student population of over 600 pupils and a teaching staff of circa 50. Loreto College now enjoys excellent facilities since the addition of our new building in 2012. We also enjoy generous grounds.

Loreto College Foxrock is a centre of excellence. It is a highly successful school where students achieve academically and are given the opportunity to reach their potential. The school is part of a long tradition of Loreto Education in Ireland, centred in God and characterised by the Gospel values of truth, freedom, justice, sincerity and joy. My vision for the school is to continue the excellent work that has been done here and to continue moving the school forward in the Spirit of Mary Ward.

Teaching and learning are the core work of the school. I am struck by the dedication of the teaching staff - they are hard-working and committed to excellence. School is a community, a living place. The work of the school is continuous and on-going. We are constantly seeking to make improvements.

All aspects of a student’s growth and education are at the centre of decisions in the school. We enjoy the support of an active Parent body, the Board of Management and Staff in planning for the needs of our students. In Loreto College students enjoy a holistic education; spiritual, emotional, physical and academic. This is reflected in the curriculum offered in classes as well as the wealth of co-curricular activities available. We expect high standards of our students in both their attention to work and in their behaviour.

I hope you enjoy your visit to the website. Please do not hesitate to contact the school should you require further details.

With Kind regards
